ATTENTION: U.P. BAGUIO UPCAT 2010 QUALIFIERS AND WAITLISTED APPLICANTS
CONGRATULATIONS! You are qualified to enroll as a Freshman at the University of the Philippines Baguio for the First Semester 2010-2011.
YOU CAN NOW DOWNLOAD THE INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO CONFIRM YOUR ENROLLMENT in UP Baguio at this website. At the same time, you may want to prepare the following documents which you will need for admission:- UPCAT admission notice
- original High School card bearing the ORIGINAL signature of your High School Principal
- two (2) passport-sized (2x2) picture on white background with your printed name at the back
- two (2) legible copies of your birth certificate (you will need to show the original, for authentication)
You also need to bring with you the official results of your Chest X-ray examination. (All new freshmen are required to undergo a physical examination to be done by the University Physician. However, chest X-ray examinations have to be done elsewhere so you may want to attend to this now.)
Note: Please come early during the physical examination to avoid long lines.
For those who intend to apply for financial assistance under the STFAP (Socialized Tuition and Financial Assistance Program), you will also need your parents' 2009 Income Tax Return (ITR) or BIR Certification of Exemption.

Facing the Greatest Challenge of our Age: Training on Climate Change for Local Adaptation Strategies
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is a 5-day capacity building course in social preparedness for executing natural ecosystem based strategies for local adaptation to address the pressing issue of global climate change through an integrated and holistic approach. This training would cover the basic concepts on climate change and skills in enabling methodologies for social resilience. These skills would include: Vulnerability Assessment, Disaster and Risk Management, Resource Valuation, and Sustainable Financing.
The course is guided by the country's commitment to the Philippine Agenda 21 (blueprint on sustainable development) and the Millennium Development Goals as framework in adaptation.
This training would be led by experts from leading environment and development agencies.
TRAINING TEAM MEMBERS:
The training team members are experts from leading environment and development agencies with direct participation in crafting Philippine Policies and action plans in climate change at the national and local level.
