In partnership with Forefront Book Co. Inc., the university library successfully conducted the blended Wiley E-Book User Training of UP Baguio on 14 May 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the library mini-event area. This activity is part of the e-resources literacy program aimed at ensuring the utilization and maximization of UP System Database Subscriptions among CUs and to familiarize the academic community with the platform’s content and features, including display options, study tools, navigation, offline access, text-to-speech, and more. The event was attended by students, faculty, and staff both via Zoom and face-to-face. An open discussion was also conducted to address concerns and answer questions from the participants.
Moreover, Mr. Eclevia shared a short tutorial on learning and research tools with UPB students who stayed until the end of the training to use in their research papers.
