General Library Orientation 2023

The UPB community is invited to attend the General Library Orientation 2023 of the University Library, UP Baguio, to be held on 9 & 23 October 2023 (Mondays), from 1:00PM to 3:00PM and 1:00PM-3:00PM and 3:00PM-5:00 respectively.

Games and exciting prizes await for those who will actively participate. Snacks will be serve!

General Objectives

  1. Orient and inform the students and faculty of the current services being offered by the library;
  2. Create a platform to showcase the functions and features of several online database subscriptions of the university;
  3. Provide a forum for the library staff to exhibit the collection, holdings, and services that they offer within their respective unit libraries and sections,

Learning Objectives

At the end of the event, students and faculty should be able to:

  1. Become familiar with the different library resources and services;
  2. Retrieve relevant information to meet their academic needs;
  3. Utilize the features and functions of the various online resources.
